Following my talk with the Hensons of 'Lobster Pot', Muriel Henson contacted their friend Barbara Copley, who has kindly provided these photographs of the aeroplane which landed on the sand at Braystones, and another unexpected arrival.

Can anybody explain what was going on here? Was this a pipe, or a boom? Was it going to Sellafield? [Adrian Melia suggests it looks like a wave-power device]
