LOW ESKHOLME SURVEYS, 1782

To Eskdale index  In 1782, two surveys were made of Joseph Jackson's estate at Low Eskholme (aka Low Hestholme) in preparation for its sale to John Pennington of Muncaster House. The first, anonymous but apparently made for Jackson, was accompanied by a rough map; the second, by G. Parke of Annaside, dated 20 Oct 1782, was a precise survey (allegedly) but the surviving copy does not include a map or values.
