CQL 1/1: Cumberland County Licensing Committee Minute Book

Grand Jury Room, Carlisle, 1 Oct 1895:
"Mr Chapman Solr. of Whitehaven appeared on behalf of Mrs Elizabeth Carter of Stanley Ghyll to apply for the confirmation of the license granted at Bootle by the Licensing Justices on the 10th day of October [mistake for September?] 1895 to the said Elizabeth Carter for the Stanley Ghyll Hotel Beckfoot Eskdale.
The Committee having heard Mr Chapman's statement and examined the license confirmed it."
