THE RAVENGLASS & ESKDALE RAILWAY
As the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway is the most-researched aspect of the area, I'm in no hurry to study it in detail. However, as I find information, I do make note of it, and here's a selection, concentrating on the old 3ft. gauge line and the early days of the 15in. gauge conversion.

It is of course also worth looking for accounts of Ratty in any of the guidebooks published after 1876.
